I first met Lana Hollenback about seven years ago when I attended my first Pet Pig Symposium at North Carolina State University . The program was well organized, extremely useful and one of the most worthwhile veterinary continuing education events I have attended. Thanks to Lana and her team, I established contacts with a number of experts in the pet pig medical field that continue to serve me well today. We did it all again the following year at Iowa State University . I had a ball!

These meetings were so well done that they inspired one of my clients, who has become a close friend, to sell her home, move to the country and start a pig sanctuary in Oklahoma . She has leaned heavily on Lana for guidance throughout this process and now has a viable organization which has saved over 100 abused and abandoned pigs, rehomed a large number of those and amazingly, OPERATES IN THE BLACK.

Lana is a gold mine of experience, wisdom, and knowledgeable contacts throughout the United States . She's tireless, generous and possesses the most important characteristic to success that too few individuals have nowadays: fierce determination to work hard and lack of worry about who gets the glory. She loves the animals, and her reward is procuring for them the decent quality of life they depend on humans to provide.
